How to Play Baby Shower Pictionary:

Once you’ve printed it, cut the words into strips and place them in a big bowl.

At the shower, divide your guests into two teams and have them take turns selecting one team member to draw for the other players on that team. Set the timer for about 45 seconds or a minute (you decide how long you want to give them) and then let them draw and guess as many words as they can in that time. Then the other team gets a turn. Go back and forth until all of the words are drawn, keeping count of how many words each team gets right. The team with the most right at the end wins! You can have a prize or you can just let the pride of winning be the prize.

I have absolutely fallen in love with mini desserts.  Everyone knows that things that come in small packages are just cuter, and this is no exception.  These candy cane mousse mini desserts are both delicious and lovely.  I promise, you will want to add these to your next holiday party.

And because I want to help you simplify your holiday season, try making these into a fun gifts to take to your friends and neighbors.  It’s as simple as adding a tag and ribbon and you have a perfect gift.

Mini Dessert Cups:

Let’s get started making these adorable little guys.

Simple Mini Dessert Cups for the Holidays

Print Recipe

• Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 Small Box Instant Vanilla Pudding
• 1 Small Box Instant Chocolate Pudding
• Milk
• 1–2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
• 4 Cups Cool Whip
• 1 1/2 Cups Crushed Chocolate Cookies or Chocolate Graham Crackers
• 1/4–1/2 tsp. Peppermint Extract
• Red Food Coloring
• 1–2 Crushed Candy Canes
• 4 Oz. Jelly Jars

Instructions

Place the crushed cookies in the bottom of the jars, just enough to cover the bottom.

Make both the vanilla and chocolate pudding mixes as directed, and chill.

Fold 2 cups of Cool Whip in the chocolate pudding until fully mixed.  Layer the chocolate mousse in your jars on top of the crushed cookies.

Fold 2 cups of Cool Whip in the vanilla pudding until fully mixed.  Add 1/4-1/2 tsp. peppermint extract, adding this to your desired taste.  Add 1-2 drops of food coloring and mix together.

Layer this on top of the chocolate mousse.

Top with a dollop of whip cream, a few marshmallows, and the crushed candy cane.

Why is it that everything is cuter when it’s small? Puppies are completely irresistible, babies can win your heart over in a minute, and pumpkin pie in a little tiny jar with a miniature spoon? I’m hooked!

Really, there’s just something sweet about things in miniature, and these mini desserts for Thanksgiving are just so cute! It’s a very easy dessert to make-graham cracker crust layered with pumpkin pie mousse and topped with Cool Whip. All packed into a teeny little jar and topped with a cute tag.

I love the idea of taking one of these to a friend for Thanksgiving all packaged up with a cute ribbon or twine, the Grateful tag on top and a tiny spoon tied to it. It’s a fun little Thanksgiving gift idea to tell someone you are grateful for them and their friendship.

It would also be darling to put on of these at each place setting on your Thanksgiving table. A mini dessert ready to be eaten right away! (Then maybe you can save the full dessert for later. Two desserts is ok right…?)

Mini Dessert for Thanksgiving:

Pumpkin Pie in a Jar Recipe

Print Recipe

• Total Time: 10 minutes
• Yield: 12 Mini Desserts

Ingredients

• Graham crackers
• 6 Tbsp of butter
• 1 small box of cheesecake pudding
• 1/2 C half and half or milk
• 1 C pumpkin
• 1 tsp pumpkin spice
• 3–4 C Cool Whip
• Cinnamon
• 4 oz. Jelly jars

Instructions

Start by crushing a package of graham crackers until you have crumbs. You want about 1 1/2 C of crumbs. Add 6 Tbsp of butter and mix.

Layer the graham cracker mix at the bottom of the jar (about 1/2 inch to 1 inch thick).

To make your pumpkin mousse, start by combining your box of pudding with 1/2 of cold half and half or milk. Mix.

Then stir in your pumpkin and pumpkin spice. Fold in 2 1/2 C of Cool Whip.

Layer this on top of your graham cracker crust in the jars leaving room to top with Cool Whip.

Top with a layer of Cool Whip and then sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.

Seriously-this stuff is GOOD! I had to eat my work of course after I made these!

What happens when I go shopping for a new dessert?  Chocolate and peanut butter, of course.  I’m pretty sure this flavor combination is as good as it gets, and this dessert tops them all.  Creamy layers of peanut butter and chocolate topped with Butterfinger…YUMMY! And beyond the yum factor, can I talk about how adorable these babies are?  Seriously perfect for any Halloween party you have coming up.

 Easy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Halloween Dip:

This RIP Halloween dessert is such a fun addition to your Halloween celebrations, and easy to make. I made mine in individual cups, which will make about 12-15 cups or you can use a 9×13 pan. However you serve it, everyone will love it!

Easy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Halloween Dip

Ingredients

• 1 Small Box Vanilla Pudding
• 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
• 1 Large Container of Cool Whip
• 1 Small Box of Chocolate Pudding

Instructions

Peanut Butter Mousse Layer:

Prepare the vanilla pudding as directed and let it set up for 10 minutes.  Fold in 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1 heaping cup of cool whip.  Fold until blended completely and place in the refrigerator.

Chocolate Mousse Layer:

Make chocolate pudding as directed and let it set up for 10 minutes.  Fold in 1 heaping cup of cool whip, mixing completely and refrigerate.

Cream Cheese Layer:

Mix together one package (8 oz.) of cream cheese with one cup of powdered sugar.  Stir until well blended.

Once all three layers are made, start with the peanut butter mousse and spoon it into your container. Next layer the cream cheese mixture, smoothing it out over the peanut butter mousse.  Top with the chocolate mousse.

In a baggie, crush together Butterfinger and chocolate graham crackers.  Sprinkle over the dessert. Lastly, place the Wilton tombstones and bones on the top.  Making a fun and delicious graveyard!

This fun dessert is delicious enough to eat it with a spoon, but why stop there?  I made this as a dip, so grab some cookies or graham crackers and let the dipping begin!

It’s peach season and there’s nothing quite like Fall baking is there? Not only will your house smell amazing when you bake this easy peach cobbler in a jar, but it’s a perfect gift to take to a friend. It’s an easy peach cobbler recipe with only 3 ingredients needed and you can bake it in individual jars, so it’s easy to put a cute tag on it and take it to a friend!

Then she can bake it herself when she’s ready or you can take it to her already baked. Either way, she’s going to love getting this peach cobbler gift!

Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe:

Peach Cobbler in a Jar:

Ingredients:

• Peaches
• White Cake Mix
• Butter (room temperature)
• Cinnamon
• Sugar

Instructions:

Cut and peel peaches (approximately 2 peaches per jar). Sprinkle peaches with cinnamon and sugar to taste.

Fill jar 1/2 inch from the top with peaches (push the peaches down to fit more)Sprinkle 1-2 Tbs. dry white cake mix on the top of peaches (fill to top of

Sprinkle 1-2 Tbs. dry white cake mix on the top of peaches (fill to top of the jar).

Add a 1/2-1 tsp butter on top of dry cake mix.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes until cake mix is golden.

Let the cobbler cool, add a cute ribbon and this cute tag (I added a little green glitter to the leaf just for fun).

Right click and save this tag to your computer and size it how you want and then print.

I don’t have a lot of little girls in my life (ahem…none!) but that doesn’t stop me from liking all things pink and sparkly. Nobody in my house loves unicorns either, but when a unicorn dessert looks this cute, you HAVE to make it anyway right?

These unicorn dessert parfaits are as adorable as they are yummy and they’d make a perfect dessert if you are doing a fun unicorn birthday part or something like that. Aren’t they fun?!

Pretty and colorful and fun! And not too hard to make.

Unicorn Dessert Parfaits:

To make these unicorn dessert parfaits, you are simply going to layer colored cake in a little tub you’ll create yourself with a yummy mousse layer. And top with sprinkles if you want (and who wouldn’t want to?! Sprinkles make everything better!)

Supplies Needed:

• 1 White Cake Mix (and ingredients to bake it)
• Food coloring
• Jello Cheesecake Mix (or any sort of cheesecake mix)
• Cool Whip
• Plastic File Folders
• Sprinkles
• Jellybeans

How to Make These Unicorn Dessert Parfaits:

First you are going to want to bake your cakes. I used one white cake mix and divided it into 4 bowls and added 4 colors of food coloring to those:

Then I used a very small pan (here’s what I used) (affiliate link) to bake each of these separately. (You could also use an 8 by 8 pan and not fill it very full.) Because they were small they baked in about 9 minutes, so watch them closely to see when they are done and pull them out (when a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean).

Set the cakes aside to cool completely.

I wanted to make these using clear plastic so the full dessert could be seen!  I couldn’t find plastic strips so it was time to get creative, I used plastic file folders!  I just grabbed the file folders at an office supply store, make sure they are sturdy enough to hold your parfaits in place. I cut mine to the size I wanted for our parfaits (I did 4″x 8″).

Once you cut the plastic to the size you want, just make a circle and tape it together.  You want the size of the circle to match the size of your cake circles.

Once your plastic holder is together, you are ready to start to assemble your parfaits.  Start with a cake layer, so the bottom of your parfait is a solid piece and will be easier to handle.  Cut a circle to fit inside your plastic:

For the cheesecake mousse layer, I used a cheesecake jello mix.  Make cheesecake as directed, add equal parts Cool Whip, fold together.  Put your cheesecake mousse in a plastic bag, cut the corner tip of the bag allowing a big enough hole for the cheesecake to push through.  Pipe the cheesecake mousse on the first layer of the cake.

Repeat until all of your layers are complete.  I did three cake layers, and topped it with whip cream.

These are just amazing!  I promise your next event will pop with these on your menu.

Some women might want diamonds or flowers for Valentine’s Day or they might want to be showered with gifts from their man as he shows his love. I just want food. And if it involves chocolate, all the better! Who’s with me!?

Whatever you have planned for Valentine’s Day (or your anniversary or another special occasion), I really, really hope it involves food, and more specifically, I hope it involves dessert! These layered parfaits are made in a wine glass to look extra pretty and are the perfect romantic desserts for special nights. It’s pretty, yummy and best of all, super simple to make!

Isn’t that pretty?! And probably a little different than your normal day to day dessert, making these the perfect romantic desserts for special days.

Romantic Desserts for Valentine’s Day:

Let’s make these!

Supplies:

• Chocolate Mousse (I made this with Dream Whip (affiliate link) using the recipe on the box)
• Whipped Cream
• Angel Food Cake (diced)
• Strawberries (diced)
• Glassware (got mine at the dollar store)
• Ribbon

How to Assemble:

• I started with a layer of chocolate mousse, spooning it into the glass.  Choose a glass that has a wide enough opening that you can get the food in the cup.  Be careful to not touch the edges of the glass, this will keep it looking amazing.
• Then add a layer of whip cream.
• Add in the diced strawberries and angel food cake.
• Spoon in another layer of the chocolate mousse.
• Top with a spoonful of whip cream, strawberries, and crumbled angel food cake.
• I tied a ribbon around the stem of the glass, holding it in place with a piece of tape on the back.

You can keep these in the refrigerator ahead of time until you are ready to serve! A perfect dessert for a romantic night!

But sometimes you have to reign in that sweet tooth for the sake of the scale, but I don’t think you need to say goodbye to your sweets.  I think you can have your cake and eat it too….literally!  These low calorie strawberry lemon parfait cups gives you all the yumminess you want without all of the calories!  This low calorie lemon parfait is less than 200 calories so bring on the yumminess.

Strawberry Lemon Parfait Cups:

Aren’t these so pretty?  You will not feel like you are deprived when you eat this sweet dessert, but you won’t be breaking your diet either!

Strawberry Lemon Parfait Cups

Print Recipe

Ingredients

• Small Box of Lemon Pudding
• Milk
• Angel Food Cake
• Light Cool Whip
• Fresh Strawberries
• Plastic Cups

Instructions

• Make lemon pudding as directed on the box, letting the pudding fully set up (our calorie count is based on using 2% milk to make the pudding).
• Fold in light whip cream in equal parts to the pudding, making sure it’s fully mixed in.
• Cut the angel food cake in squares.  We used half of a one inch slice for each cup.
• Dice 3 strawberries per cup.
• Begin the layering with your pudding mixture in the bottom of the cup.  Add about 1/4 C of the lemon pudding mixture. Add your cake pieces and your diced strawberries. Then add one more layer of the pudding mixture (another 1/4 C) to cover the top.  Finish with a dollop of whip cream, a couple of strawberries and cake crumbles.
• Total calorie count based on our quantities is 192!

Raise your hand if you love ice cream cakes! I do too…which is why I know you will love this ice cream parfait in a cup! These parfaits have all the yumminess of an ice cream cake combined with all of the cuteness of an individual treat…they are pretty much perfection!  Because you are making them individual sizes you can also have more flavor options.

Not only do they taste great, but how cute are they?! (I love the little spoon tied to it!)

Ice Cream Cakes in a Cup:

I made two different flavors of Ice Cream Parfaits in a Cup.  It was hard to decide which one was my favorite because they are both so delicious. You could make these in ANY flavor you want!

Ingredients for the Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Parfaits in a Cup:

• Chocolate Cake
• Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
• Oreo Cookies Crushed (or any sandwich type cookie)
• Hot Fudge (store bought or here’s a recipe for homemade if you prefer)
• Whipped Cream
• Plastic Cups

Ingredients for the Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream Parfaits in a Cup:

• Chocolate Cake
• Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream
• Peanut Butter Cups (Cut into small bits)
• Peanut Butter (Melted)
• Whipped Cream
• Plastic Cups

Instructions:

• Using a circle cookie cutter, cut circles of cake that will fit the size of your plastic cups.
• Start with a layer of ice cream in the bottom of the cup.

Drizzle hot fudge or the melted peanut butter over the ice cream.

Top that ice cream layer with the cake.

Add your crushed Oreo cookies or your chopped peanut butter cups. Then add another layer of ice cream filling it to the top of the cup.

Top with whip cream, a drizzle of hot fudge or peanut butter, and candy or cookies.

I thought it would be super cute to add a little spoon and bow to the side! Makes it perfect for a party!
