A Peek at the Fun: This simple to make ice cream parfait in a cup is a perfect dessert to make for a birthday or any other fun celebration. Fill it with your favorite ice cream and candy, top with whipped cream and it looks as good as it tastes!
Raise your hand if you love ice cream cakes! I do too…which is why I know you will love this ice cream parfait in a cup! These parfaits have all the yumminess of an ice cream cake combined with all of the cuteness of an individual treat…they are pretty much perfection! Because you are making them individual sizes you can also have more flavor options.
Not only do they taste great, but how cute are they?! (I love the little spoon tied to it!)
Ice Cream Cakes in a Cup:
I made two different flavors of Ice Cream Parfaits in a Cup. It was hard to decide which one was my favorite because they are both so delicious. You could make these in ANY flavor you want!
Ingredients for the Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Parfaits in a Cup:
- Chocolate Cake
- Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
- Oreo Cookies Crushed (or any sandwich type cookie)
- Hot Fudge (store bought or here’s a recipe for homemade if you prefer)
- Whipped Cream
- Plastic Cups
Ingredients for the Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream Parfaits in a Cup:
- Chocolate Cake
- Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream
- Peanut Butter Cups (Cut into small bits)
- Peanut Butter (Melted)
- Whipped Cream
- Plastic Cups
Instructions:
- Using a circle cookie cutter, cut circles of cake that will fit the size of your plastic cups.
- Start with a layer of ice cream in the bottom of the cup.
Drizzle hot fudge or the melted peanut butter over the ice cream.
Top that ice cream layer with the cake.
Add your crushed Oreo cookies or your chopped peanut butter cups. Then add another layer of ice cream filling it to the top of the cup.
Top with whip cream, a drizzle of hot fudge or peanut butter, and candy or cookies.
I thought it would be super cute to add a little spoon and bow to the side! Makes it perfect for a party!
