Charcuterie boards have been a major hit this year! The idea deserves to be talked about and well loved because they are super easy, and they always turns out SO cute!

One of the best things about hosting with charcuterie boards is that you can make one for just about any occasion! This charcuterie board idea is perfect for any fall occasion!

Fall Charcuterie Board:

Doesn’t this make you so excited for fall to come?!

So when you have your theme (in this case it’s fall) you just need to come up with different snacky foods that are the right colors to make it scream fall! To make it easy for you, I have put together my shopping list! Let’s start gathering supplies!

Shopping List:

• Prosciutto
• Pistachios
• Apples (I used green)
• Crackers (you can choose your favorite)
• Celery
• Cuties (mini oranges)
• Orange bell pepper
• Cheese ball
• Mozzarella balls
• Pepperoni
• Pretzel Rods
• Chocolate covered blue berries
• Block cheese
• Everything Bagel seasoning
• Ferrero Rocher chocolates
• Werther’s Original hard caramel candies

Lets put it Together:

To start: Find your base. You can use really anything. You can use a cutting board, a large platter, or a charcuterie board. The base I used is circular and I thought it was perfect. I like to start by placing 3 small bowls or containers on my base. This will help you to know where to start. I filled the bowls with pistachios, chocolate covered blue berries, and mozzarella balls.

How I turned the store bought cheese ball into a pumpkin: I shaped it into a ball, then I used a knife to add the lines. I topped it with the bell pepper stem and sprinkled Everything Bagel seasoning over it.

Then you fill the rest of the charcuterie board with the other snacks. I didn’t have a rhyme or reason when I put this together. Just randomly start placing everything. Don’t overthink it!

How cute is this Charcuterie Board?! The secret to this is just to do it! It can feel overwhelming not knowing where to put everything. But once you start you’ll get the flow. I’ve never had a charcuterie board not turn out after it was done. You can do it! Your family and friends will thank you!

This is so easy to put together.

Supplies Needed:

• Bath and body products (anything you want-it could be just a lotion or you can do a whole gift basket)

• Something to package it in

I used double stick tape to add the tag. You could also add it with a cute ribbon.

Or, if you’re doing the basket, tie a bow around the basket and add the tag. So simple!

I honestly have a one in a million teacher for my fifth-grade boy this year who goes above and beyond in every way. She shows up to basketball games and soccer games to cheer them on (and not even just one a season, but several). She had the whole class put on the play of Hamilton and even had our little “tough” boys singing and dancing of their own free will. I love her and the time and effort she puts into my kiddo and I know that this year when I thank her, I want her to really know just how much I appreciate her.

Well, somehow it happened. My oldest son is a high schooler and is on the dating scene. He has been to one school dance and now is getting ready for another. Naturally, when my kiddos need something creative they come to me for ideas, but not this time! In our house the student has become the master. My son came home with this fun running themed prom proposal in his mind and asked me to help him make it happen.

His date is on the cross country and track team, so naturally my son was thinking all about running. I think he nailed it with this running themed homecoming proposal.

Prom Proposal:

Isn’t this a fun surprise for someone to come home to? And it’s so simple to put together, I have everything you need to pull it together.

What You Will Need:

• Poster Board
• Card Stock Paper (Any Color)
• Printable Tag
• Shoe Box
• Anything a Runner Might Like (Socks, Sports Drinks, Candy, Water)
• Tape
• Ribbon (Optional)

Instructions:

• Let’s start with the poster board. This will be the first thing your date will see, and where the journey to the big question begins. Simply write the question on the poster board in any style and color you like. When you deliver this promposal, the poster board will be hung on the front door.

• You need to cut footprints out of the card stock paper. Cut as many footprints as you will need to take them from the front door through the house to the bedroom of person you are asking. Leaving a trail for them to follow.

• Lead the footprints to the outside of the bedroom door where you will leave the shoe box with all of the supplies in it. I filled the box with socks, candy, and drinks. Make sure to print the tag and include it in the box.

• It’s super important to include the name of the person who is doing the asking. Spell the name out with one letter on each footprint. Tape them on the bedroom door all jumbled up so they have to figure it out.

That’s it! You have a super fun running themed promposal ready to go.

If you have a high schooler, you probably have experienced Prom and Homecoming proposals. They are the perfect way to start a fun journey to the big dance. I have joined this new world of promposals with my oldest child so naturally it has my creative juices flowing. Bring on the fun and creative promposals.

Cute Prom Proposals:

I’m in love with this cute and simple homecoming proposal, it is a burst of color and such a simple dance invitation to put together.

What you will need:

• White Poster Board
• Starbursts (About 100)
• Double Sided Tape
• Printable Burst Tag
• Two Small Slips of Paper That Will Fit in the Starburst Wrapper

Instructions:

• Print the tag and cut it in a circle. Place it in the center of the poster board, securing it with tape.

• Choose two Starbursts and carefully unwrap them. Write your question on one of the small slips of paper and place it on the inside of the wrapper. Write the name of the person who is doing the inviting on the other small piece of paper and place it in the other wrapper.

• Carefully rewrap the Starbursts, making sure the question and the name are in the wrappers.
• Now simply start to make your lines coming from the center circle. Each line of Starbursts will be different lengths. Secure them down with double sided tape.
• Last step…make a very fun delivery!!

Are you planning a baby shower? If so, you may be trying to decide if you want to play games and if so, what games? Well, I say YES to baby shower games! They give your guests a chance to interact in a natural way, and gives everyone an opportunity to have some fun.

To that end, I have some fun Minute to Win It baby shower games we think you will love. They are so simple to put together and are a total blast to play.

Baby Shower Games:

Have you ever played minute to win it games? If so, you’re probably a fan because they are seriously so fun and will bring out everyone’s competitive side. I have put together some fun games you can incorporate in your baby shower.

I found everything I needed for these games at my local dollar store, so not only are they simple they are inexpensive. Let’s start with the basics of any Minute to Win It game…every game you play is timed for one minute. So being quick is the key when playing these fun baby shower games.

All of these games are designed to get everyone ready to “help” take care of the new baby! I want to make sure everyone is prepared.

Here’s a list of everything I used for ALL of these games. Again, everything I used came from our dollar store except the diapers! So super affordable.

Change the Baby-

This is played exactly how it sounds. You will provide everyone with a stuffed animal or doll, a diaper, and a onesie and let them race to get the “baby” diapered and dressed. Whoever finishes first, wins! If you have more guests than dolls, you can play this game in shifts. It’s so quick, even in shifts it will go fast.

Wipe it Up-

You will provide each player with a container of baby wipes. To play this game, each player will use only one hand to grab as many wipes as they can in one minute. The person with the most wipes out of the container wins.

Suck It Up-

You will need nose aspirators, a bottle, jar, or cup, and mini marshmallows for each player. This game is played by sucking up as many marshmallows as possible and letting them drop in the bottle. You will play for one minute, and the player with the most marshmallows in their bottle wins.

The trick is working as quickly as possible but keeping a steady hand.

Minute to Win It Games:

Diaper Stacking:

Yep, you guessed it…you are going to be stacking diapers for this game. Give each player a pile of diapers, and they have one minute to stack them as high as possible without tipping them over. The player with the most diapers stacked wins the game.

This is the only game that will require an item (diapers) that isn’t found at the dollar store. But as the hostess of the baby shower, the diapers can double as your gift to the mother to be. The diapers will not be damaged at all in this game, and can be reused.

Feed the Baby:

For this game, your players will need to choose a partner. One player will be blindfolded and will be trying to feed the “baby.” The other player will be fed! I used pudding but you can use applesauce or anything you might feed a baby (without grossing out your guests).

The player who empties their container first wins this game.

Pacify the Baby-

Every good mama needs to know how to pacify her baby, and this is great training. Each player is given a Ring Pop and when you say “GO” they start to suck on their “pacifiers.” The player who finishes their Ring Pop first wins the game.

How fun are these games?! If you want to take it up a notch, provide a fun prize for the winner of the Minute to Win It games. You can assign each game a point value, and keep track of the points throughout all of the games.

I love all things Halloween. So naturally, throwing a Halloween party is such a thrill for me. I love the foods, games, treats, and decorations…it’s all such fun.

I usually have at least one Halloween class party that I help with. So I have gathered together lots of cute and simple Halloween party ideas I want to share with you!

Kid’s Halloween Party:

I’m a big believer in keeping things super simple. Throwing a party does NOT need to be time consuming or stressful. Parties are meant to be fun, so let’s have fun planning the perfect Halloween party!

I have gathered everything you need for an amazing Halloween party for your kiddos, whether it’s a class party or one you are throwing yourself. Us moms have to stick together, and I’m here for you.

Halloween Party Themes:

Where to start when planning the perfect party? The theme! Decide what you want the theme of the party to be. That will give you the perfect launching off point. I have some fun suggestions for you to get your wheels turning.

Death by Chocolate:

This is a fun theme because it’s so versatile. Really all you need is to think about all things chocolate! I did this party in a black and white color scheme, but any color scheme would work.
