I have graduation on the brain around here. My oldest is graduating this year so clearly I needed some fun graduation gift ideas. And I’m so thrilled with this taco inspired grad gift idea…it’s so fun and super simple to put together.

And who doesn’t love all things fiesta!

Grad Gift Idea:

Ok guys, seriously this gift idea is so fun and a breeze to put together. I promise your graduate will love this gift basket full of some spicy and fun things.

I love giving gift baskets for gifts because you can easily control the cost of the basket. So no matter who you are buying for this taco themed gift for it works perfectly. If you want to spend a little more, simply add some money or gift cards to the basket. In this basket I did both. I have a fun Taco Bell gift card and then I added money to the piñata. But if you want to spend a little less, just go with some chips and salsa. It’s totally up to you.

I got this cute basket, the piñata, and sombrero from Hobby Lobby. Everything else came from the grocery store (including the Taco Bell gift card). How simple is that?

Of course a piñata isn’t complete without filling it with fun things. I went for some candy and money in this little guy, but you can totally add any small items your graduate would love. In fact, we’ve done a fun graduation gift using just a piñata and loved the way it turned out! Check it out…super cute!
