Are you planning any holiday parties yet? You know it’s coming so I’m here to help make your party a little simpler.

Bingo makes a perfect party game because it’s so simple and most everyone knows the rules. I have done more class parties for my kiddos than I can count and bingo has always been my go to! All you need to do is print these cute bingo cards and you are ready.

Printable Christmas Bingo:

Bingo is so simple to play and because it’s full of cute pictures, it’s perfect for all ages. All you need to do is to print the bingo cards and cut them in half (I have two per page). And print the draw cards and cut them so you can draw one at a time.

Supplies Needed-

• Christmas Bingo Boards (available to print at the bottom of this post for free)
• Bingo Draw Cards (available to print at the bottom of this post for free)
• Candy or marshmallows to cover the squares
• Bowl or container for draw cards
• Prizes for winners (optional)

Let’s review the rules-

• Give each player a Christmas bingo card. I have 10 different cards so you can have up to 10 players.
• Give each player some place markers. You can use marshmallows or any small candies.
• Put all of your draw cards in a bowl (or anything that holds them).
• Have one person in charge of drawing cards. That person will draw one card at a time and hold it up so the players can see the picture. If a player has a match on their boards they place a candy over the picture.
• Keep drawing cards until a player gets bingo which is 5 covered spaces in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal). When a player gets a bingo that player calls out “BINGO.”
• Another variation is to play “Blackout” which is when a player gets all of their pictures on their boards covered. It’s fun to do a couple of rounds of bingo and then go for a blackout.

All we have left is to print the bingo cards and boards. And all you need to do is click and print.

Halloween is just right around the corner and you know what that means? Halloween parties! I absolutely love all things Halloween and the parties are the best. Through the years I have been in charge of class Halloween parties many, many, many times and bingo is always my go-to game. It’s so simple and fun.

Halloween Bingo:

Aren’t these bingo cards so cute? And the best part is that all you need to do is print them out.

There are 10 different bingo cards meaning you can have 10 kiddos play at one time. Usually when I do a class party I split the class into smaller groups and have them rotate to different centers. That keeps the group small enough to manage easily.

Now, back to the bingo. I have all of the printable bingo boards and the draw cards all ready for you to print.

Free Printable Halloween Bingo Boards:

The boards are saved as a PDF so you can print them easily. There are two per page making them 5×7. I recommend laminating the boards so you can use them year after year.

Don’t forget to print the draw cards. After printing, cut them into equal squares.

Halloween Bingo Draw Cards

Here’s how to play:

Give each child a bingo board and some place markers (marshmallows, candy corn, Teddy Grahams, or any small item to fill the bingo square). Draw one draw card. The children will match the pictures to their boards. If the pictures are the same they cover one of their squares with a marker. Keep going until one of the children have 5 squares covered in a row (diagonal, horizontal, or vertical). When that happens the child would yell “Bingo” and you can start another round.

Another option is to play blackout. In this version you would keep playing until one child has their entire board covered.

Just a tip, plan for more than one winner per round…it happens more than you think. And if you want a cute and simple party favor these Halloween suckers are perfect.

Valentine’s Day parties seem to be a staple around here with my kiddos. I think I’ve helped at every class party. So, I’m always on the look out for fun and simple party ideas and this Valentine bingo is perfect. I love playing bingo at parties because usually most everyone knows the rules making playing super simple. And because I have everything ready for you, it’s as simple as pushing the print button.

Valentine Bingo:

Aren’t these bingo cards so cute? And I have 14 different bingo boards so you can play with a larger group.

Let’s review how to play this fun Valentine’s Day bingo.

• Print out the bingo cards.
• I’ve got two cards on each page, so cut in half. If you think you might be using these cards more than once, I would recommend laminating them.
• Cut the draw cards (and laminate them as well if you choose to laminate).
• To play, simply give each player a bingo card. Put the draw cards in a bowl or sack and begin to draw one card at a time. Hold the image up so the players can see it and mark their bingo card if that image is on their board.
• You can have the players mark off their boxes with candy or marshmallows. You can also use a pen or marker but then you won’t be able to play multiple games. So do what works for you.
• The player is going for 5 squares in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
• When the player gets 5 in a row they yell “BINGO” and they are the winner.

When I play this I will provide prizes for the winners. Just a quick trip to the local dollar store or stock up on some fun candy bars and it will make the game even more fun. It’s a good idea to bring extra prizes so you can play lots of game. It’s also common to have more than one winner per round.

Another fun version is blackout. In blackout each player keeps playing until all the squares are covered. The first player to have their board covered yells “BLACKOUT” and they win.

So no matter what party you have going, this Valentine’s Day bingo is a fun and simple addition.

Every year I host my family Christmas party. It has become one of my very favorite traditions of the season, I love it so much. This year I decided to add this stocking stuffer gift exchange game and let me tell you…it was a BLAST!!! Seriously, my whole family absolutely loved it and we have decided to keep this new tradition at our party.

I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Stocking Stuffer Gift Exchange:

This game was played at my family Christmas party which included my extended family, 19 people in total. That’s one of the perfect things about this idea is that it can work for any group, any size, any age.

For our party I wanted my family to choose one of their favorite items or something that represents themselves. They were asked to bring 19 of the same item, wrapped with no names. Because it was a family party I didn’t feel like we needed to set a price limit, people were free to spend whatever they wanted. But depending on your group, you may want to consider giving a price limit.

I did a favorite things theme, but you can choose to ask your guests to bring any type of gifts. Just consider who your guests are and what works best for them.

Theme Ideas:

• Candy/Favorite Treat
• Funny Gifts
• White Elephant (Anything They Want)
• Cosmetics (Maybe a Favorite)
• Most Bizarre or Random
• Drinks

Really just decide who your guests are and what you want to end up with at the end of the game. I had 19 people involved in this gift exchange so I’m not sure we would have wanted 19 pair of socks or 19 funny gifts. So the favorite things worked great because we got a little of everything.

So how to actually do the exchange part.

First, you will need a stocking to put all the gift in. You can get stocking from the dollar store if you are looking to keep things more cost effective. Because I was doing this for my family, I didn’t mind investing in stockings that will hold up for years because we will use them for many years to come.

Gift Exchange Ideas:

Once you have the perfect stockings, it’s time to get them set up. Just lay them out somewhere that they are accessible. When your guests come to the party have them discreetly put their items in the stockings, one per stocking.

After all of the guests have had a chance to put their gifts in the stockings, it’s time to get to the exchange part.

Circle up, give everyone their stockings and it’s time to start to open the gifts. Start with everyone finding the same shaped gift so everyone is opening the same thing at the same time. Once the gift is open everyone gets to guess who brought that gift. See if people can guess who would have brought that item. Once you choose the gift giver, it’s time to move on to the next gift. It’s really such a fun way to do a gift exchange and I promise you will love it.

You can see that we had a large variety of gifts. It was really fun to see what everyone brought. But the best part is all of the laughing. We laughed the whole time we were opening gifts, it was such a fun addition to our Christmas party.

Fun Emoji Halloween Game for Kids

Playing this emoji game for Halloween is simple. You will need to print a copy of the game for each player. Provide each player a pen/pencil so they can write their answers. The rest of the game is simple. Determine how long you want to give your players to complete the game. The time you give will depend on how quickly you think your players will guess the movies (you may want to time yourself for a good idea how long to give).

Have each player start the game with their papers turned over so they can’t peek. When you say to start the players will turn over their papers and guess as many as they can within the time. When time has run out, each player will stop guessing and you can review the answers.

The player with the most correct answers win!

Halloween Game for Kids:

This game is super simple to play. Simply print out one sheet per player. Make sure each player has a pencil or something to write the answers with.

Tell each player they are looking for Halloween movies and each set of emojis gives the clues to guessing the movie. Have each player start with their papers turned face down so they can’t be looking ahead. Once you have explained what they are doing, let them turn the papers over at the same time and start guessing.

There are a couple of different ways to play and it probably depends on the ages of the kids who are playing. If the kiddos are a little older and you think they will guess most of the movies you can set a timer and the players will complete as much as they can within the time set.

If you are playing with a younger crowd who may not know all of the movies, you can let them play until they say they are done guessing.

In both scenarios, once the players are done guessing go through the answers and the player with the most correct wins!

Does your family love to play games? If so, you need to introduce them to this card game. I call it President but I’ve also heard it called Scum. It’s really so fun and so simple, it will quickly become a favorite.

I’m all about making fun moments and for me, games is a huge part of that. I seriously can’t get enough of them. Such a fun way to play and laugh together. This fun President card game will give you lots of laughs and maybe even a little friendly competition.

Let’s get to teaching you how to play President!

President Card Game:

Supplies Needed:

• One Standard Deck of Playing Cards (52 Playing Cards and Two Jokers)

Objective:

Be the first player to get rid of all of your cards from your hand. The first player to do this is the President and next player is the Vice President. The last two players finished will be the Vice Scum and Scum. This will matter in the next round.

Ages: We play with kiddos ages 8 and up. You really can decide if your kiddos are old enough to understand the game, or they can be on a team with another player.

Number of Players: 3 and up. You can play with as many people as you want. If playing with more than 8-10 players you may want another deck of cards.

Card Rank for President:

The cards will rank as follows from highest to lowest: 2 Jokers, 3, 2, Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, and 4. You can decide which joker will be the highest joker and it will be the most powerful card.

How to Play President:

• Before you start, choose a President, Vice President, Scum and Vice Scum (if you are only playing with 4 or less players, play without “Vices”). You can choose by rolling a dice (highest rolls are President) or choosing cards (again, highest are President).
• Deal all of the cards, one at a time to each player. Dealer starts dealing to the player on their left and circles around until all cards are dealt. I usually make dealing a job for the Scum player.

• Each player can look at their cards and arrange them in order from highest (Joker or 3’s) to lowest (4).
• The Scum give the President their two best cards (the cards worth the highest value) and the President gives the scum any two cards they choose. For instance, the President may have three 4’s and wishes to keep them together. The Scum doesn’t get to choose.
• The Vice Scum gives their best card to the Vice President and the Vice President gives one card of their choice to the Vice Scum. This happens before the round begins. (You can see how happy this exchange makes the President…look at that grin)

• The President will be the first to play a card. The idea of the game is to play cards according to numerical value from least to greatest. If the first player plays one card, that round each player may only play one card. If the first person plays two cards, that round can only have doubles played. The person who begins the round dictates how many cards can be played. So in the example below, the first player played double 8’s. That round only doubles can be played and they need to increase in numerical value.

• The object of the game is to play all of your cards. So, the first player can play any card they choose. The next player needs to beat that card by playing a higher value card. The round continues until it goes back to the original player or if no one can beat the card played (because it’s higher than what anyone wants/can play).
• If a player plays a card that no one can beat, that player clears the pile and starts the next round. If the round continues until it circles back to the original player who played the first card, they will clear the pile and start the next round again. There is some strategy deciding when to play the high cards. You want to be able to play your cards first, but if you end up with only low cards left you will have a hard time getting them played. So, you may want to hold onto your high cards until others have played their cards so you can take some rounds.

How to Win:

Be the first player to play all of your cards. The first player will be the President for the next round. But the game continues until everyone has played their cards. You will sit in the order you got your cards played. So first player is President, second player is Vice President down to the last players who will be Vice Scum and Scum. If you are only playing with 4-5 players you may want to eliminate the Vice positions. If you are playing with a large group the middle players will be “Common” players. They are just in the middle until they move up or down.

That’s it, you are ready to play.

I’m so excited to introduce you to this quick paced game of Nertz. It’s a fun and simple game to play and to learn making it perfect for any occasion. All you need is a deck of cards per player and you are all set!

Let’s learn to play Nertz…I promise you’ll love it!

Nertz Card Game:

If you’ve played Solitaire this will be a lot like that. It’s really just a variation of Solitaire, but played in groups and is fast paced.

What you Need:

• A Standard Deck of Cards Per Player-(affiliate) Bicycle Standard (2 Deck Pack)

Object of the Game:

• The object of the game is to get rid of the Nertz pile of cards. Once that pile is gone, that player wins.

Game Set Up:

• Number of players can range from 2 players and up.
• Each player use their own deck of cards (no jokers).
• Shuffle cards. Count out 13 cards and place them in a pile with the top card turned up…this is your Nertz pile.
• Place 4 single cards face up next to the Nertz pile creating your “work piles”
• Leave an open area in the middle of the players for the common area (which I’ll explain later).
• The remaining cards each player has will be their “stock pile” to be used during the game.
• It should look something like the image below.

How to Play Nertz:

• Each player will play on their own “work piles” using their Nertz pile and their “stock pile” cards. The only cards that will be played as a group is in the middle area where the aces will go.
• When the game is started every player begins to play their cards. There are a couple ways to play through a player’s cards. Cards can be played in the “common area” starting with an Ace and played same suit in numerical order up to a King. Each player can play on their own “work piles” alternating colors and counting down in numerical order. For instance, if a black Queen is showing, the player can play a red Jack followed by a black 10 and so on down the line.
• Players will be working through their “stock pile” cards turning every 3rd card up. If the 3rd card can be played in the “common area” or on the player’s “work piles” the player can play that card. Remember, the idea is to get rid of the Nertz pile so always take the opportunity to play that card first.
• Once a card is played from the Nertz pile, the player will flip over the next card on the pile.
• Players can always have 4 “work piles” so when there’s an empty slot the top card from the Nertz pile can be moved in that slot. Kings from the “stock pile” cards can also be placed in an empty slot, but moving the Nertz pile is priority so that is usually the best move.

How to Win Nertz:

• Being the first player to play all of the cards from the Nertz pile wins the game! The player simply shouts “Nertz” to signal the end.

Does your family like to play card games? I love playing them and are always on the lookout for fun games to play with my familys. Well, Garbage is it.

Yes, you heard correctly…Garbage card game! It’s a super fun game that the whole family will love. And so simple everyone can play.

How to Play Garbage:

Garbage is an easy to play card game that is perfect for all ages and any size group. Players simply need to be able to put their cards in numerical order, so if the player can count they are old enough to play.

What is Needed:

• One deck of cards (52 card deck)-if you are playing with 4 or more players you may need additional decks.
• I like these cards from Amazon (affiliate) 2-Pack: Playing Cards

How to Start:

• Deal 10 cards to each player, leaving the cards turned facedown on the table.
• Each player will arrange their cards in 2 rows of 5 in front of them (leaving facedown).

Objective:

• Be the first player to arrange the cards in numerical order starting with an Ace as the starting card. Ordering them from Ace-10.

How to Play Garbage Card Game:

• The player to the left of the dealer will go first. That player may take the card that is face up (one card is left face up by the remaining stack of cards), or they may draw a card from the top of the deck.
• The first player draws their card, if it is an Ace-10, they may play that card in the corresponding spot. For example, if the player draws a 2 they will place that card in the second spot face up.
• The card that was in the second spot is then flipped over revealing the card. If the card is another card between Ace-10 it can be placed in the proper spot.
• This keeps going until the player reaches a card that cannot be placed. The player will then discard that card, and their turn is over.
• If a King is drawn or turned over at any point, it can be used as a wild card. The player may place it in any spot they wish. Once a King card is placed, it can be moved if the card fitting that spot is revealed. Jacks and Queens are always garbage cards.

• When a player has all of their cards uncovered and in numerical order, they win that round.
• Each player will have one more turn to try to finish turning all of their cards. If a player does, they also win that round. Players can turn over their cards after their final turn to see if their cards line up by chance. If they do, that player also wins the round.

• There will be 10 rounds of this Garbage card game. If a player “won” the previous round, they will receive one less card. So if they had 10 cards previously, they will be dealt 9 cards. They will then need to arrange the cards from Ace to 9.
• Each round won, means one less card the next round for the players that won. So as the game gets going, each player could get a different amount of cards.

Winning a Game of Garbage:

• The first player to get down to one card and gets an Ace uncovered, wins the game.
