Let’s get to the Minute to Win it Christmas Games!
Stocking Stuffers:
Supplies Needed:
- Nylons (One pair per player, but you can do several rounds so just decide how many players you want at once)
- Clementines or small oranges-2 per player
How to Play:
Place a clementine in the bottom of both legs of the nylons (stockings). Each player will have one minute to get the clementines from the bottom of the nylons only using their hands (no arms, teeth, legs). When the timer starts, the players will start at the top of the nylons, inching their hands to the bottom. The first player to get their clementines out of their stockings, wins!
Christmas Card Stack:
Supplies:
- Greeting Cards- Any type of cards will work for this game. You can even use old Christmas cards.
How to Play:
Each player will need to stack their Christmas cards making a two story tower with them using one hand. They will have one minute to make this happen.
Candy Cane Grab:
Supplies:
- Candy Canes-you can use any size, but they need to be the ones that have a hook. Straight ones won’t work.
- Bowl
How to Play:
Give each player a pile of candy canes and a bowl. Place the candy canes on the table with a bowl near the pile. When the time starts, each player will place a candy cane in their mouth. They will use that candy cane to grab as many candy canes from the pile as they can. Player can only use the candy cane in their mouth to grab more candy canes…no hands.
Christmas Tunes:
Supplies:
- A piece of paper and pencil for each player.
How to Play:
Gift each player one minute to name as many Christmas songs as they can. All of the players can play this game at the same time. The player with the most songs written at the end, wins!
Snowball Fight:
Supplies:
- White pom-poms. Have plenty so each player can have as many as they will need.
- Buckets or bowls to hold the pom-poms.
How to Play:
Give each player a line to stand on. Place a bucket or bowl 4-6 feet across from each player. The players will have one minute to toss as many “snowballs” into their buckets. You can decide if each player gets a point per “snowball” that makes it, or if you want to give a point to the player who gets the most.

Each player will be given ornaments that they will move from their bucket to another using only their toes. The first player to move all the ornaments wins.
Wrapping Things Up:
Fun Christmas Games
Supplies:
- An empty box per player- you can decide if you want to take the time to gift wrap the boxes. It doesn’t change the game either way.
- Ribbon-you can cut the ribbon long enough to wrap around your boxes and tie a bow.
How to Play:
Each player will be given ribbon and a box. When the timer starts, each player will need to tie a bow around the box using only one hand. The players can use other body parts, just not a second hand. The first player to successfully tie a bow, wins.
Jingle All the Way:
Supplies:
- Large jingle bells
- Empty tissue boxes with two slits in the back so a belt or ribbon can slip through
- Ribbon or belt to tie around each player
How to Play:
Using the belt or ribbon, tie an empty tissue box around the player’s waist, the tissue box should be on the players back. Fill the tissue box with the bells. When you start the timer, the player will need to wiggle around until the bells all fall out of the box. This game is really funny to watch, so have a few players go at once…timing them. The player with the best time wins.
Don’t Forget Your Mittens:
One Minute Games
Supplies:
- Mittens for each player
- Post It Notes- one stack per player
How to Play:
Each player will need to put their mittens one. Once the timer is started, they can peel off as many Post It Notes as possible in one minute. They must peel one note at a time.
String the Bells:
Supplies:
- Mini Jingle Bells
- String or Thread
How to Play:
Each player will get a piece of string and a pile of bells. They will have one minute to string as many bells as possible onto their piece of string. The player with the most at the end, wins.
Pass the Eggnog:
Supplies:
- Eggs- real or plastic (you choose)
- Plastic Spoons
How to Play:
For this game, split your players into two teams (if you have a really large group of players, you can make more teams). Each player will get a plastic spoon they will have the handle in their mouths. Half of the team will stand on one end of the room, and the other half on the other side of the room. The first player will have an egg in their spoon. When you say “go” the player will need to walk to the other side of the room with the egg in the spoon that they are holding in their mouth. When they get to their teammate on the opposite end of room, they need to hand off their egg without using hands.
Because this is a team game, you don’t necessarily need to time it. You can just let the teams compete against each other. The first team that has all of their players done, wins.

Supplies:
- Regular sized marshmallows
- Stick pretzels
- Sharpies

Give each player 3 marshmallows, two pretzels, and a Sharpie. When the time starts, each player will need to build a snowman complete with a face using only one hand. The first player to get their snowman built, wins.
