I’m a game person! Seriously, I love all the games and are up for playing them anytime. Some of my favorite games to play are card games.
I love them because with one or two decks of cards you can play so many different games. I have gathered 10 of my favorite card games with a couple of new ones thrown in too. Such fun card games, it’s hard to choose which one to try first!
Fun Card Games:
I know there are some trickier card games to learn, but these are not them. I have 10 super fun card games that are easy to learn and a blast to play!
Garbage is a fun and simple game making it perfect for your whole family. I love this game because it’s so simple to learn. If the players know their numbers, they can play this card game.
Spicy Uno is a fast and crazy version of traditional Uno. It’s seriously so fun to play and even more simple to learn. If you know basic Uno rules, spicy Uno is a cinch to learn. Break out the Uno cards and give this fun version a try.
Nertz is a quick paced card game and such a blast to play. It’s really fun for the teens because it can get competitive. It’s a lot like a game of solitaire, but played in groups and is fast. If you haven’t played, time to give it a try. Such fun.
How to Play President (AKA Scum):
Whether you call it President or Scum, it’s super fun to play. This fun card game is perfect for any size group. I love playing this one anytime we have a big family gathering. Plus, when you can add in social climbing to a game it gets interesting.
Crazy 8’s is a card game everyone recognizes by name, but seems like very few actually know how to play! But what a fun card game for your kiddos. If you haven’t played Crazy 8’s, now is the time.
Golf: A Fun Card Game for Families:
Do you love golf? Well, if you do this may be a fun game for you…and if not this may be a fun game for you! 😉 Just like a real game of golf, you are trying to keep your score as low as possible. Give it a try and see how low you can go.
Knock is a Rummy type game. So if you love Rummy you will love Knock. Perfect for a smaller group 2-6 players.
Okay, have you played Spoons? It’s seriously such a blast and gets competitive quickly. All you need are some spoons, and deck of cards, and super quick hands…you are ready for a fun game of Spoons.
