A Peek at the Fun: This lemon party is a perfect summer bridal shower theme to celebrate the bride. Sweet lemon themed tablescape, bridal shower favors, decorations and food that will make your shower a huge success!
How sweet is this Lemon Themed Bridal Shower? I’m in love with this party! (This is Danetta.) I was thinking about what kind of wedding shower I would throw for my niece (no, she’s not even engaged yet…but that doesn’t stop a good party idea) and I fell in love with this idea!
Lemons are so bright and cheery I knew they would be fun to work with, not to mention how many yummy recipes incorporate lemon in them! So my mind went crazy with how to use lemons in decorating, the menu, and the gift bags. This is a perfect Spring or Summer Bridal Shower!
Summer Bridal Shower Theme:
Bridal Shower Tablescape:
We love how the place settings turned out for this party. We started with white dishes and did a simple silverware roll to add a splash of yellow. We found these cupcake holders at Hobby Lobby and knew they would be a perfect accent for each place setting, holding a delicious strawberry lemonade cupcake! We added lemons to vases and cut lemons up for the floral centerpieces. Each place setting also has a little jar of homemade sugar scrub…adorable!
This fun “Love” sign was made from a serving tray we found at Hobby Lobby. We simply painted the center with chalkboard paint and made it our centerpiece!
Lemon Themed Bridal Shower Menu:
The menu for this party was super simple but delicious. We served sandwiches (chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, pesto, and tomato on ciabatta bread), green salad with Lemon-Parmesan dressing, pita chips, cupcakes (strawberry lemonade, raspberry lemonade, and lemon), lemon cookies, and lemonade to drink.
The salad is a green salad with romaine lettuce, arugula, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers, croutons, and shaved pieces of parmesan cheese.
Topped with a nice Lemon Parmesan Dressing. Here’s the recipe for that on a printable recipe card if you’d like to use it for your party.
The lemonade was so easy, we just used a basic lemonade mix and added strawberries, raspberries and lemons. We served it in this cute old fashioned jar and used jars for the cups as well. It was a fun throwback to a simpler time…sippin’ lemonade and relaxing on a warm summer day…perfection!
We completed our cute jars with a strawberry on the rim and a fun pink and white straw. You can also try a lemon on the side of the jar.
This cupcake tier was a hit! Not only is it amazing looking, but the cupcakes are super yummy. We topped the cupcakes with the fruit to match their flavor, and of course, we couldn’t resist adding a cute straw!
We made three flavors of cupcakes Strawberry Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade, Lemonade. Grab the recipes here.
These lemon cookies will quickly become one of your favorites. They couldn’t be simpler, and they are amazing! Once you know the recipe, you can make any flavor you like, but for us, the lemon was perfect.

Bridal Shower Party Favors:
We wanted to send our guests home with something special to remember the wonderful time they had at our shower. These gift baskets turned out to be so fun. We included a jar of homemade sugar scrub, lemon lotion, a bag of lemon drops, and one of the lemon cookies packaged in a cellophane bag. We completed the gift by putting it in a white box and attaching a tag with a cute pink and white polka dotted ribbon. Who doesn’t want to leave a party with a present? So fun!
These jars of sugar scrub were one of our favorite parts of this party. Sugar scrub is very easy and quick to make and is such a pleasure to use!

So creative- what are the measurements for the lemon scrub? How many jars does the recipe make and what size for the recipe! I h

Eeek! It’s been 3 years since we made this so we can’t remember exactly, but it would definitely depend on the size of the jar. Basically however much sugar it takes to fill the jar is what you’d need since the other ingredients are minimal.
Hello! I’m so glad I stumbled across your site as I’m in the midst of putting together my own bridal shower and absolutely love everything you’ve done here! What are the names of the fonts used in the invites and such? I’m on PicMonkey but can’t seem to find anything that matches the bold cursive like font.
Amber & Danetta says
Oh man! It’s been so long since we made those that we can’t remember. Sorry!
