Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday to celebrate, especially with your grade school kiddos. My kids have outgrown that stage but man we loved it. We loved coming up with fun ideas for Valentine boxes and then making cute valentines for them to pass out.

If you are knee deep in all things Valentine’s Day and want an easy valentine try this cute cotton candy classroom valentine idea. Super simple!

Cotton Candy Classroom Valentine Idea:

Aren’t these little guys so cute!?

I found the containers of cotton candy at Walmart in packs of 6 which made things even simpler. Once you have the cotton candy, making your valentines are as simple as pushing the print button.

Supplies Needed:

• Cotton Candy
• Tags
• Tape

I promised simple!

If you can’t find the plastic containers of cotton candy, bags work just as well. Just attach the tags to the bags, it would be super cute. You can also split the cotton candy into smaller cellophane bags if you can only find larger bags.

These are perfect for class valentines or would be perfect to give to grandkids. Just a little something to let people know you are thinking of them.

Valentine’s Day parties seem to be a staple around here with my kiddos. I think I’ve helped at every class party. So, I’m always on the look out for fun and simple party ideas and this Valentine bingo is perfect. I love playing bingo at parties because usually most everyone knows the rules making playing super simple. And because I have everything ready for you, it’s as simple as pushing the print button.

Valentine Bingo:

Aren’t these bingo cards so cute? And I have 14 different bingo boards so you can play with a larger group.

Let’s review how to play this fun Valentine’s Day bingo.

• Print out the bingo cards.
• I’ve got two cards on each page, so cut in half. If you think you might be using these cards more than once, I would recommend laminating them.
• Cut the draw cards (and laminate them as well if you choose to laminate).
• To play, simply give each player a bingo card. Put the draw cards in a bowl or sack and begin to draw one card at a time. Hold the image up so the players can see it and mark their bingo card if that image is on their board.
• You can have the players mark off their boxes with candy or marshmallows. You can also use a pen or marker but then you won’t be able to play multiple games. So do what works for you.
• The player is going for 5 squares in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
• When the player gets 5 in a row they yell “BINGO” and they are the winner.

When I play this I will provide prizes for the winners. Just a quick trip to the local dollar store or stock up on some fun candy bars and it will make the game even more fun. It’s a good idea to bring extra prizes so you can play lots of game. It’s also common to have more than one winner per round.

Another fun version is blackout. In blackout each player keeps playing until all the squares are covered. The first player to have their board covered yells “BLACKOUT” and they win.

So no matter what party you have going, this Valentine’s Day bingo is a fun and simple addition.

Have you ever played the newlywed game? It’s fun to play and such a great way to get to know other couples. I have played it several times, and it’s always a hoot. Lots of laughs and sharing.

The newlywed game is especially fun to add to a Valentine’s Day party or any party that is for couples. If you are looking for a fun Valentine’s Day party, I have a fun fondue party you’ll love!

And what makes this an even better? I have the questions on cute little cards all ready for you to print.

Newlywed Game:

This is such a fun way for you and your part guests to interact and find out more about one another. I promise you’ll laugh so hard at some of the answers the couples will come up with.

Instructions:

You will have two rounds, both being worth a different amount of points.  Maybe the first round all questions are worth 5 points and the second round each question is worth 10 points…something like that.  You will also need to decide how many questions you want in each round.  I have given you 14 questions for each spouse (men and women).  But remember, you may need a question or two left for a tiebreaker at the end of the game.

Round 1:

• The first round, have the men go in another room.  Make sure they go far enough away they can’t hear what the ladies are saying.
• While the men are in another room, give the women a piece of paper and pencil to write their answers down.  Then read the questions to the women using the question cards with the red border.  Again, you have predetermined how many questions per round (I would suggest 5 questions per round, leaving you some bonus questions for the end).  After you have asked all of the questions for that round, invite the men to return to sit by their wife.  Make sure the ladies cover their answers so their hubby’s can’t see!
• Read the first question you asked the ladies out loud for the group to hear, giving the men a few moments to formulate an answer.  Start with a couple, asking the husband to respond to the question.  He gives his answer out loud for the group to hear.  After he states his answer, his wife will reveal the answer she wrote down.  If the answers match, they receive the points.  It will be up the the group to determine if answers match or not if there is a close one!  Repeat this process until all of the questions and answers have been revealed.

Round 2:

• It’s now time for the ladies to step out of the room.  You will repeat this process, but this time you will read the men the questions with the black border.  Again, reading the same amount of questions you read to the women.  Have the men write down their answers and then cover them up before the ladies return.
• Ask the question out loud giving the women time to come up with an answer and then start around the room.  Once all of the questions have been answered that is the end of round 1.
• Round two will be the same, the only difference is the points each team will receive for their answers.  Maybe save the harder questions for round two.

Bonus Round:

• Sometimes it’s fun to have a bonus round, with one or two questions (the hardest ones) being worth a lot of points.  You can decide if a bonus round sounds fun.  If you do, it would be the same process but only asking one question to each spouse.
• If there is a tie, ask the couples who have tied a tie-breaking question, the couple who answers correctly wins the game!
• Most importantly, this is a game…so have FUN!

Round 2:

• Who is your wife’s celebrity crush?
• What is your wife’s favorite store?

• What is your wife’s favorite hobby?
• What would your wife say is the most memorable part of your proposal?

I absolutely love minute to win it games, so I’m always looking for an excuse to play them. And Valentine’s Day gives me the perfect occasion to let the games begin. These fun Valentine games are super fun to play, and are so simple to organize.

Valentine’s Day Games:

Okay, have you ever played minute to win it games? They are so simple and such fun to play, which is why I absolutely love them. If you haven’t played before, now is the time. These Valentine’s inspired minute to win it games are perfect to add to any party. They would be perfect for you room moms out there too! Your classes would love these.

There are several ways to approach minute to win it games. They can be played individually or as teams. You can even do a mix of both just depending how you want things to go. I have all of the rules in this Ultimate Guide to Minute to Win it post. It gives you the rundown on options for playing.

I did all of my shopping for these games at my local dollar store, making it super quick and cost effective. I have lots of game ideas for you because they move super fast, but you can decide which ones best fits your party. Here is the complete shopping list if you play all of these games. Quantities will vary depending on how many people you are planning for.

Shopping List:

• Conversation Hearts
• Stuffed Animals (I snagged some at the dollar store, but you can use what you have too)
• Ice Cube Trays
• Silk Flower Rose Pedals
• Hershey Kisses
• Little Valentines Toys
• Heart Shaped Balloons
• Paper Hears (large enough to cut into a puzzle-you can even just cut one out of red paper)
• Lollipops (you can even use ring pops)
• Disposable Pie Tins
• Whip Cream/Cool Whip
• Glass Jars or Bowls
• Tongs

Minute to Win it Games:

Whispering Sweet Nothings Game:

This game will be played in teams. You can split up in however many teams works for your group. One player will choose a conversation heart and try to get their team members to guess what is written on the heart. The player cannot say any part of the word written on the conversation heart. No rhyming is allowed either. The player will give their teammates clues until the words are guess.

For instance…if the word is “HUG,” the player might give clues like…

• “Blank” and Kisses
• A Teddy Bear “Blank”
• Give Me a Big, Tight, “Blank”
• Another Word for Squeeze

The other players keep guessing until they guess the correct word or words. Once the word is guessed correctly, that player will choose another conversation heart and go again. Do as many words within the one minute time. If you prefer, you can have the players alternate giving clues within that one minute. That would give more players a chance to have a turn.

You can do this as many rounds as you want.

Heart Breaker Minute to Win it Game:

For this game, you will need to cut the large paper heart you bought or made, creating a puzzle. Make enough puzzles for each player (or just plan to play several rounds for this game). Give each player their puzzle pieces and set the timer for one minute. When you say “go” each player will try to put the puzzle together within the minute.

The player to complete the puzzle first wins. If you think it will take the players longer than one minute, you can forgo the timer and just have the players compete against each other.

I’m a Sucker for You Valentines Game:

You will need suckers for this game. I found these funny lip suckers at the store, but any suckers will work. Give each player a sucker. They will be trying to finish their sucker first to win this game. Again, you can forgo the timer for this game allowing the players to compete against each other.

Melt My Heart Minute to Win it Game:

For this game, you will need to think ahead a bit. Freeze candy (I used conversation hearts) in ice cube trays. Make sure you have enough ice cubes for each player. When the timer starts, each player will try to melt their frozen cubes as quickly as possible. The first player to free the candy, wins. You can decide if you want to set a one minute timer on this game. If you use a timer, and no one frees the candy, no points will be awarded.

Hint: Play this game over a table with each player having a paper towel in front of them to catch the water.

Let’s Eat Pie Valentine’s Day Game:

Before you play this game, you will need to fill each pie tin with whip cream or Cool Whip. Place the little Valentine’s Day toys in the whip cream. You get to choose how many toys go into each tin, just make them all the same.

When you say “go” each player will try to get all of the toys hidden in the whip cream out without using hands. This one gets messy, but is so fun to play…and even more fun to watch! This is one of our favorite Valentine’s Day Games because it’s such fun to be a spectator.

Fast Kisses Valentine’s Day Game:

There’s a couple of ways you can play this game. The object of this game is to have each player unwrap Hershey Kisses with only one hand. You can choose to give each player as many kisses as they can unwrap in one minute, or give each player a select amount. If you give a certain amount, the winner will be determined by the first person finishing their pile. If you decide to give the players as many as they can unwrap, the winner is the player with the most kisses unwrapped after one minute.

Give Me a Squeeze Game:

This game will be played in teams, you can decide how many teams based on the number of players. The object of the game is to have two players hold a balloon back to back. The players will need to walk while holding the balloon back to back for the distance you choose. Make the distance reflect the ages of your players. If you are playing with little kiddos, make it shorter. Once the players make it to the other side of the room, the next two players pick up the balloon and walk back with it between their backs. The first team to have all of their players go, wins.

If the balloon drops while the players are crossing, they can pick it up and start over. But they must go back to the beginning and start again.

Rose Pedal Races Valentines Game:

Each player will need a jar or bowl, a pair of tongs, and a stack of silk rose pedals. When you start the timer, each player will try to get as many rose pedals into their jar using the tongs. The player may only grab one pedal at a time.

The player with the most pedals at the end of one minute wins the game.

Teddy Bear Waddle Minute to Win it Game:

For this game you will need to split the players up in teams. You can use the same distance as you had for the balloon squeeze game. Split the teams in half placing one half of the team on one end of the room and the other half on the opposite side of the room.

The first player will start with a stuffed animal between their knees. They will need to walk or waddle across the room to their partner who will be waiting on the other end while holding their stuffed animal between their knees. When they reach their partner, they will need to “hand off” the stuffed animal without using their hands.

When the “hand off” was successful, the new player will cross the room to the next players waiting. The team that finishes with all of their players first wins the game.

While you are playing these games, keeping a running total of points for each player. When you have completed all of the games you want to play, simply tally the points. The player with the most points, wins. I hope you love playing these fun Valentine’s Day games as much as I have!

It seems like I’m always roped into helping with class parties for all the different holidays at the kiddos’ school. OK, I admit, I kind of like doing it. It’s fun to be around all of those cute kids.

But sometimes you need something quick and easy to grab when you don’t have a lot of time to plan a great activity. I’ve put together these fun Valentine games for you to print and play with the kids, whether it’s for a school class Valentine’s party or just something fun to play with the kids at home.

Fun right? There are five games and activities that you can pick and choose from, or print them all and start playing!

Valentine Games:

Don’t Eat Cupid Valentine Games:

Let’s start with this one (because it’s my kids’ favorite!). It’s a Valentine’s Don’t Eat Pete game, so I called it don’t eat cupid.

Here’s how to play Don’t Eat Cupid:

Cover each character with the candy (or whatever food you brought to use). Choose one person to be “It”, and send them out of the room. The rest of the group chooses which character on the game board to be “Cupid.” The “It” person comes back and starts to eat the candy off the board in whatever order they want. When they reach to grab the “Cupid” all the other players yell “DON’T EAT CUPID” and that “It” person isn’t it anymore. Choose and new “It” and repeat until all the children have had a turn to be “It.”

Pictionary Valentine Games:

Here’s another fun one-play Valentine’s Pictionary! These words will be tricky and fun to try drawing.

How to play Valentine’s Pictionary:

Cut up the words into little strips. Divide the players into two teams. Set a timer for one minute. Take turns having one player from each team draw a word from the strip until their team can guess the word. The player can then keep drawing from the next strip until time runs out. Keep track of how many each team gets right and the team with the most points wins!

I Spy Valentine Game:

This is a fun one, especially for preschoolers or younger kids. All you’ll need to do is print a playing card for each kiddo, then let them hunt for the various items listed at the bottom and fill in the blanks.

Valentine’s Word Search:

Here’s a word search that will great for older kids! Especially if you need to fill in some time during a party or after school. Super easy-just print and let them start searching!

Valentine’s Day is coming…and it’s all about the love here at Fun-Squared! I love, love, love chocolate and will find almost any excuse to eat it so when we need to plan a Valentine’s Day party it’s very simple to decide what to serve!

Chocolate fondue is so yummy and such a fun, social dessert. Everyone can gather around a fondue pot full of chocolate, dipping yummy treats and chatting….oh seriously, we are drooling over here just thinking about it. I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening together with friends than this fun fondue Valentine’s Day party!

Valentine’s Day Party:

Throwing a couple’s Valentine’s Day party doesn’t have to be a ton of work. Fondue is pretty easy to pull together and is a crowd pleaser.

If you’re looking for a fun Valentine’s Day game to play at your fondue party I have this Newlywed Game. I have all of the questions all ready to be printed out on cute little cards.

Newlywed Game

I kept things super simple with the decor, I used red roses (because hello…it’s Valentine’s Day) and white dishes.

So simple but so pretty!

We love the way the table looks…just simple but gorgeous!

Valentine’s Day Party Invitations:

I wanted our invitations to be elegant to match the party. I printed out a red invitation and then wrapped it in black card stock (and cut a heart shape in the top) then tied it with red ribbon.

Here is a template that you can use to create your own invitations. If you don’t know how to personalize this, no worries. I’ve got a tutorial here that will walk you through that.

Valentine’s Fondue Party Food:

Let’s talk food… (because that’s really why we are here isn’t it?)

I made a white chocolate and coconut fondue.  It is a little different spin on your basic chocolate fondue, and it was delicious. Maybe have a milk chocolate and a white chocolate one if you want both!

And we piped a pretty pink heart in because it’s Valentine’s! (That’s just pink melting chocolate.)

White Chocolate and Coconut Fondue

Print Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 bag White Chocolate Chips
• 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
• 1/2 C Heavy Whipping Cream
• Pink Meltable Chocolate (if you want to make a design in your chocolate, optional) affiliate link
• 1–2 tsp Coconut extract

Instructions

Mix the chocolate chips, coconut oil, and heavy cream in a pan on the stove over medium heat. Stir until melted and combined. Add coconut extract to taste. And enjoy!

If you want to add the cute pink heart, simply melt your pink melting chocolate and put in a zip lock bag. Cut a thin hole at the corner of the bag. Pipe a heart on the top of your chocolate fondue right before serving.

When I throw a party I often like to have a fun little take-home gift to go with it all and send everyone home with a smile at the end of it.

I made these fun little Valentine’s kabobs using white Lindt truffles, red hot lips, and Valentine’s marshmallows.

Then I added a little tag saying we’re so Fond of You (get it?) and attached it to the take home.
