A Peek at the Fun: This 16th birthday gift idea is simple but sweet. If you’ve got a friend turning 16, fill 16 balloons, each with a note of something you love about her and put the notes inside. (This works great for any age really.)
I’ve got a sweet friend who turned 16 last week and I wanted to do something special for her that would make her feel loved. I was brainstorming a little and thought it would be fun to do something bright and colorful and filled with love…and balloons are what came to mind!
So, I filled 16 balloons each with a strip of paper saying one thing I love about her. I also added confetti just to make a fun mess when she pops them. Tied them all together and gave them a cute sign and they turned into a perfect gift!
It’s fairly easy to put together too. And you can do it for any age, although much beyond the teenage years and you’re going to have a LOT of balloons on your hands!
Balloon Birthday Gift Idea:
Supplies Needed:
- Strips of paper
- Confetti
- Balloons and String
- Helium
- Sign (template below)
Instructions:
Start out by writing down 1 thing you love about your recipient on each piece of paper.
Roll the paper up and slide it into the balloon. (It really helps to have an extra set of hands for this part! The ladies at the party store I went to were super helpful and offered to do this part for me!)
Then throw some confetti in there if you want:
And have them inflated with helium.
For the sign, I included a blank template that you can use if you would like. You’ll just need to add the number at the top and a name at the bottom. (If you need help with how to do that, this tutorial should help.)
To use this, simply right click and save to your computer, then open in a photo editing program like PicMonkey.
I colored in the edges of the words in my sign too just to make it more bright and colorful!
Turned out so cute!
Have FUN giving this 16th birthday gift idea!
