Easter baskets are so much fun, right? My family has a fun tradition that makes Easter baskets even more fun… We hide the baskets and the kids have to find them! It’s a super fun tradition that my kiddos look forward to each year.
But you’ve got to have some fun things in the Easter basket to make it worth finding right? And sometimes it can be hard to find great Easter basket stuffers to put in them-so here are some great ideas to help you out!
Easter Basket Stuffers for Children Under 10:
Here are some great Easter basket stuffers to get you started! I’d love to hear some of your favorites!
What Easter basket is complete without a stuffed animal? I love this little guy, could he be any softer? If you have a kiddos who loves all things soft and cuddly, this stuffed bunny is a must have.
These are so fun for bath time! My kids went nuts for these when they were younger and took baths all of the time! The kids can pick what color they want their bath to be and drop that tablet in their bath. It’s a fun way to learn colors because you can mix and match to create all of the colors. This is a fun item to add to the Easter baskets this year!
My kiddos are in love with all things legos, and they love these little toy figures most of all! What a fun idea to add them to the eggs. This would make a fun addition to your Easter basket, or you can hide these eggs in your Easter egg hunt! If you have a lego enthusiast, this will be a hit.
Sidewalk chalk makes a perfect addition to any Easter basket because it’s the time of year the kids can start to play outside. I always love to think of activities that will take the kiddos outdoors after a long winter. This sidewalk chalk is glittered so it adds a little flare to any work of art. Our goal is always to give my children experiences they can enjoy together, and making art on the sidewalk does exactly that!
Sometimes I look past obvious things to give our kids thinking “they won’t like something that old fashioned.” But have you ever watched a child play with a slinky? I promise, it will entertain them for hours! Seriously, there is something mesmerizing about a slinky, and it promotes creativity as the child tries to make it “slink” on different courses. My little guy got one of these for Christmas this year, and he fell in love. Of all of the toys he received this year, this was one of his top favorites…showing that some things never go out of style!
Have you ever heard of Spot It? It’s a fast paced game that requires a quick eye, and is so fun to play. I love this version of it for the younger kids. It is the same idea as the regular games but this one shows pictures of animals. So, if your kids are old enough to “Spot” animals, they will be able to play this version of the game. Such a fun family game because the games are short, perfect for short attention spans.
Again, I’m going retro here! PEZ dispensers are seriously so fun even though it’s hard to figure out why!? All of my kids have loved getting their own PEZ dispenser, and usually have the candy gone in about 5 minutes. Just a little fun retro to add to your child’s basket, and then you can reminisce about how much you loves PEZ as a child too! 🙂
Socks are so trendy lately and my kids love to have something fun on their feet. How about finding them a few cute pairs of socks to put in their Easter basket? They will love it and it’s functional.
Coloring books are a sure hit for an Easter basket! I fell in love with this Disney coloring book because my kids love the Disney movies. I love getting my kiddos things to do, and coloring books tend to go everywhere with me. They are starting to outgrow them slightly but I’re still trying to hold on to this age a bit longer (wish me luck)! 🙂
These are hands down the best markers on Earth! They will wash right up, so gone are the days of worrying about those little hands not staying perfectly on the page. You can breath easy and your little ones will have a ball coloring their works of art.
Have you ever read these “Mouse” books? They are some of my kiddo’s favorites. The writing is fun and whimsical and the pictures are bright and colorful. Such fun adventures for mouse! If you haven’t read these to your kiddos, I would recommend any of them. For Easter, this one is perfection!
I’m a little bit of a traditionalist! I believe all Easter baskets should have a chocolate bunny in it. I also believe my kiddos are obligated to share their bunnies with me! 🙂 I personally really like Dove Chocolate, but pick any chocolate that makes you drool.
Bubbles are universally fun, making them a perfect addition to any Easter basket. I usually go for bubbles in bright containers like these ones because I think it adds such a fun element to the basket. I love all things bright and colorful and our kiddos love bubbles, so this is perfect!
I love for my kiddos to be creative and use their artistic side, but sometimes the mess is hard to take. This is why I love all of the sidewalk art supplies! These neon sidewalk paints give the children the opportunity to create master pieces and gives parents the opportunity to relax a little! 🙂 No mess, they are washable and will be used outside. Such a fun product, and makes a great addition to an Easter basket!
Hopefully that got you off to a good start putting together a fun basket for your kids!
Have FUN using these Easter basket stuffers to fill a fun basket!
