It’s the most magical time of the year again! I am all about the Christmas season and all the ways to celebrate. Our family traditions, parties, and snuggling up with hot chocolate and a movie. Once you have a puzzle all you need is fun ribbon and the tag which I have all ready for you to print. I have three different colored tags for you to choose from. Super Easy!

Here is a little tip!  I like to tie the bow around the puzzle, then tape the tag on the box. Then the tag is always facing forward.

I personally have so many of these people in my circle that I would love to thank. It seriously takes a village! This gift is so simple to put together, but is so cute! You really can’t go wrong with it!

We went on our first family cruise together this year.  It was amazing. We invited my sisters and both of their families. It was seriously a dream come true. But let’s be honest. Planning a trip for such a big family can be a little chaotic. My sisters came up with this gift idea to thank me for being the designated trip coordinator. Isn’t it so fun?! But most important, it’s SIMPLE .

Chaos Coordinator Gift:

This perfect chaos coordinator gift is a perfect thank-you for teachers, friends, neighbors, family, etc. You could give this to practically anyone and I’m sure that they will love it!

Supply List:

• Cute tumbler
• Mini candies to fill the bottom
• Tissue paper
• Skewers
• Packaging tape
• Their favorite candy bars / candy
• Gift cards (optional)

Once you have all of your supplies you can get to work! You can fill the bottom of the tumbler with the mini candies that you chose. Mine was filled with Hi-chews! (That always seems like a good option.) Then take your tissue paper and put it on top of the tumbler. Then it’s as simple as taping the rest of the candy and gift cards to individual skewers, and poking the skewers through the tissue paper and into the candies for support.

Super simple, right!? Now all you have to do is add some ribbon and this cute tag.

Every year my in-laws host a super fun Christmas party that we look forward to so much. As part of this party, they play a really fun gift grab Christmas party game that we absolutely love! My husband and his family started to play this game when he was young and they have kept the tradition alive.

It’s perfect for all ages and any size group, making it the perfect Christmas party game to incorporate at your next holiday party.

Gift Grab Christmas Party Game:

Everyone loves the excitement of getting gifts, which makes this a really fun game to play. Everyone will walk away with some fun gifts so it’s a win all the way around.

Supplies:

• Dice- If you have a larger group you will want several sets of dice to pass around. I would suggest a set of dice for every 5 players (give or take). This keeps the game moving fast.

• Wrapped Gifts- When trying to decide how many gifts to buy, calculate how many people will be playing and how many presents you want each player to get. They won’t end with the same amount, but you’ll get an idea how many gifts you want. All a Dollar is a great place to stock up if you have one in your area. You can also wrap a dollar bill or two, the kiddos love that.

• Somewhere to roll the dice- We use clothes boxes or you can gather around your table

How to Play the Christmas Gift Grab Game:

Place the wrapped gifts in the center of your playing area. We always sit in a large circle on the ground because we have a pretty huge group. But you can also gather around your kitchen table if you can fit.

Spread your sets of dice around the circle so they aren’t starting at the same place. Everyone will roll the dice when they are passed around. If the player gets a 7, 11, or doubles they get to choose a gift from the center of the pile and place it in front of them. Keep playing in this manner until all of the gifts are chosen from the center.

When the last gift is taken, you can set a timer for 2 minutes and keep playing. But rather than taking a gift from the center of the pile, when the player rolls a 7, 11, or doubles they get to steal a gift from another player. If you are playing with younger kiddos, this is a good time to make sure the gifts are pretty even. If you are playing with teens and adults, stealing gifts from each other makes a fun competition.

Once the two minutes is done, the game is over. Everyone gets the gifts they have in front of them!

It’s such fun for everyone to walk away from your party with some fun new items. Really such a crowd pleaser!

OK, Christmas is over now, your house is probably a mess and you’re still in recovery mode. BUT, you know that January is coming and with that comes that gnawing voice in the back of your mind reminding you that you *might* need to get back on the bandwagon of eating healthy, exercising, organizing or just living real life after a month of spoiling yourself for the holidays.

Or maybe it’s those New Year’s goals that you know you *should* be setting. Maybe this gets you excited? Fills you with dread? Somewhere in the middle? I thought it would be fun to give you a DIY planner that you can make to help you keep all of your goals! Also, a bunch of fun goal setting worksheet printables to help you track what you are working on.

See, doesn’t just LOOKING at that picture get you excited to set some goals?! I love a good DIY planner and these are just so cute.

Grab a Friend! At Fun-Squared I’m all about friendship and I know that if you set goals and have a friend who sets her own goals and you keep each other accountable, you’re a lot more likely to succeed.
