Have you missed us? (What? Don’t tell us you didn’t notice we were gone!) We have been busy swimming, playing, hiking, vacationing, reading and just overall enjoying summer. We decided to take a few weeks off partly so we could enjoy summer and partly because, in all honesty, it’s HARD to keep the blog running with 7 kids at home between the two of us.
But we are back now and today we want to share something super simple with you in case you are like us and are having a hard time keeping up with life with the kids home! This is a super easy birthday gift idea-a candy bar bouquet in a mug.
Now really, who wouldn’t want to get that on their birthday? You can fill it with the birthday girl or boy’s favorite candy and if you look closely, you’ll notice a Cheesecake Factory gift card tucked back in there too. You could easily add in gift cards or money or anything else that you want to this easy candy bar bouquet birthday gift idea! Then slap on a tag and you are all set!
Let’s talk about how to make this fun birthday bouquet. It’s seriously easy and fun!
Candy Bar Birthday Bouquet:
Supplies Needed to Make Candy Bar Bouquet:
- Candy of your choice
- Gift cards or money (optional)
- Skewer sticks
- Tape (a fairly heavy kind so that it holds the candy bars in place)
- Mug (we got ours at the dollar store)
- Tissue Paper
- Ball of foil
- Tag (print it below)
Instructions:
To make this candy bar birthday bouquet, start by attaching candy (or gift cards) to your skewer sticks. To do this simply tape the skewer stick to the back of it.
Then, roll some foil into a ball and stuff it down into the mug. Cover that with tissue paper and begin to stick your candy bars on the skewers down into it.
Add the tag.
Here is a tag for you to use. You can either right click and save it to your computer then size how you want and print, or we have a PDF with several of them ready for you to just print and cut.

We don’t but we recommend sending them to a local printer. You can usually get them printed for really cheap.
