We Tissue a Merry Christmas
Supplies Needed:
- Full Tissue Boxes- One per player
How to play:
Every player gets their own tissue box. When you say go, each player will try to grab as many tissues from the box as possible only using one hand. The player with the most tissues, wins. Or you can just let the players play against each other rather than the clock, and the player who finishes first wins.
Frosty the Snowman
Supplies Needed:
- Mini Marshmallows
- Carrot Sticks
- Bowls
How to Play:
Each player will be given a bowl of marshmallows, two carrot sticks, and an empty bowl. When the time starts, each player will need to move their marshmallows from one bowl to the other using only the 2 carrot sticks. The player who moves the most marshmallows, wins.
All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth
Supplies Needed:
- Popsicle Sticks- One per player
- Starbursts
How to Play:
Give each player a popsicle stick and a handful of Starburst candies. The player will place the stick in their mouth. When you say “go,” each player will try to stack as many Starbursts on the end of their stick as possible. The player with the most on their stick when the minute has passed, wins!
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
Supplies Needed:
- Wrapped Hershey Kisses
How to Play:
Each player will have Hershey Kisses in front of them. When the time starts each player will unwrap as many Hershey Kisses as possible using only one hand. The player with the most unwrapped, wins.
Up On the Rooftop
Supplies Needed:
- Playing Cards
- Flat Surface for the Players
How to Play:
Each player will have one minute to build a house of cards as tall as they can. They must have a rooftop on their layer to count as a layer. The player with the tallest house, wins. There can be more than one winner. Give each winner a point.
Baby It’s Cold Outside
Supplies Needed:
- Lots of Extra Clothing (Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Coats, Boots…Anything Will Work)
How to Play:
Give the player a pile of clothing. When the time starts, the player will have one minute to bundle up with all of the extra clothes. The trick to this game is giving the players enough extra clothing to make it difficult. Like a couple of coats, several pairs of gloves. If you are playing with younger children, do less clothing.
Oh Christmas Tree
Supplies Needed:
- Green Solo Cups
How to Play:
Each player will have a stack of green Solo Cups. When the time starts, they need to build a pyramid with the cups and collapse it using only one hand. The player who gets it done first wins.
Deck the Halls
Supplies Needed:
- Playing Cards
- Solo Cups
How to Play:
Start with your cups stacked with a card in between each layer. When the time starts, the players will try to unstack the cups by pulling the cards out from each layer. When the player has successfully stacked their cups back together without the cards in between, that player wins. If the cups fall (which they will), the player can stack the cups with the cards again and restart.
Silent Night
Supplies Needed:
- Words to Use for Charades
How to Play:
Split your players into teams. When the time starts, the players will need to act out as many words as they can within the one minute. Players cannot use words, only act out the clues.
