Isn’t there something so fun about Halloween? I can’t decide which part is my favorite. Is it the fall colors? All of the candy? Or maybe it’s the fun costumes? What I am sure about is that I love a fun Halloween party.
If you are hosting a Halloween party this year, this spooky Rice Krispies treat is the perfect addition to your party. It’s easy to make, yummy to eat, and I promise that it will be a guest favorite!
Rice Krispies Halloween Party Treat:
If you have never made Rice Krispies treats before, let me ease your mind. They are SO easy. You really can’t mess them up. I will share the recipe and all of my tips and tricks below:
Recipe:
- 10.5 oz mini marshmallows
- 3 Tablespoon butter
- 1/5 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 Cup red velvet cake mix
- 6 Cup crispy rice cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows. Make sure to stir continuously until they are melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Add the vanilla, cake mix, and food coloring. Mix well. You can add more food coloring if the color doesn’t look right.
- Mix in the crispy rice cereal. I have found it easiest to add little bits at a time. You should be left with ooey gooey deliciousness.
Once you are done, spoon the Rice Krispies onto a foam meat tray and cover it with cling wrap.
How fun and spooky is that?! All that you have left to do is print our tag. I have it all ready for you!
