To create this gift, you’ll want to grab batteries. You can get any size package, but to have the tag make sense, you will want to make sure that you get either triple or double A batteries.

Then you can print this tag and add it.

When I say Diet, you say Coke…Diet Coke!  Am I the only one who gets excited about my favorite drink?!  I would gladly trade in a baked cake for this awesome Diet Coke Cake any day of the week.  Don’t get me wrong, I love birthday cake, but I think this Diet Coke Cake is such a fun twist on a classic birthday cake.  I’m celebrating my birthday week this week and this Diet Coke Cake is the perfect addition to the party…I love how it turned out.  And even better, I love having this baby at my house!  So, if you know someone celebrating a birthday soon, find out their favorite drink and start making them a “cake.”

Diet Coke Cake:

How fun is this?  I love the way it turned out and it was super simple to put together.

Supplies Needed:

• Soda Cans (29)
• Ribbon
• Card board to place each layer on (I used cake boards 6, 8, and 12 inches)
• Bow
• Hot Glue

Here’s How to Make This:

Step 1-

Start with the bottom layer and place one can in the center of the 12 inch board.  Place 6 more cans around the center can, making a circle.

Place 12 cans on the outer layer to complete your bottom layer of the cake.  Make sure all of your cans are as close together as they can be.  Wrap a ribbon around the circle and hot glue it together on the back side (pull the ribbon as tight as you can get it).

Step 2-

Put your 8 inch board on the top of your bottom layer.  Place a can in the center of the 8 inch board and then place 6 more cans around the center can.  Wrap a piece of ribbon around this layer and secure it in place with hot glue.

Step 3-

Place your 6 inch board on top of the middle layer and center 3 cans on it.  Wrap the ribbon around using hot glue to secure it.  Top your cake with a bow and you are ready to go!

This is simple and quick, and a perfect way to say Happy Birthday!

I did two color schemes so you could match the tag to the type of Nerf Gun you purchased.  To print it, right click, save to your computer and then open in a program like Word or Pages on your computer, size how you want (I usually size it about 3.5 or 4 inches) and print.
