A Peek at the Fun: These Mexican party games are fun and fast paced and are perfect if you’re throwing a fiesta party and need fun ideas to do during the party. Three great minute to win it games that your guests will love!
If you are throwing a Mexican themed party and need something fun to do during it, these games are a HUGE hit! We just threw a fiesta and need a few minute to win it style games. Whenever we do that, we aren’t sure which games will be a hit and which might fall short, but these games seemed to be popular with our guests and they are new and creative ideas that your party goers probably haven’t played before!
These games are fun and easy for you to pull off, which is always a win, right?! Let’s take a look at how to play!
Mexican Party Games:
Pass the Piñata Game:
We weren’t sure if this game would be fun or not (it’s always hard to know ahead of time) but it ended up being the hit of the night!
How to Play:
This is super simple. You’ll want some festive fiesta music (we just downloaded some to our phones) and a cute Piñata to pass. We played this like hot potato or musical chairs. When the music was on, everyone stood in a circle and passed the piñata until the music stopped and then the person who was holding it was out. We continued this again and again until it was down to the last two people and the last one holding it was out and we had one winner! (Just be sure that the person playing the music isn’t watching so they have no idea whose hands it’s in.
Honestly, the adults at this party were laughing and shooting and having a GREAT time playing this game! We played one round with the women and then another with the men.
Be warned though, our piñata got pretty destroyed playing this so don’t plan to use it for anything else!
Spill the Beans Minute to Win It Game:
Here’s another easy one that was quick to play and people enjoyed. Fill a jar with some beans and cut a small hole in the top. Then set your timer and everyone has to try to shake as many beans as they can out of the jar in one minute.
Our guests got anywhere from about 4 beans to 16 beans. You can change this a little depending on how large you make the hole in your jar. Just be sure to put enough beans in the jar to make it through a full minute.
Tortilla Frisbee Golf:
Another fun party game, we played frisbee golf with tortillas. We had a starting location and a goal (in our case an apple tree) that the guests had to hit in as few throws as possible. Then have your guests start throwing their tortillas and see how many shots it takes them to get there. Obviously, the lower the number of throws the better.
There you go! Three fun fiesta party games to try with your friends!
Have FUN playing these Mexican party games!
