Ya, you need them pretty small! We didn’t do cookie cutter cookies, but the kind you make balls and then they spread. But make them smaller than normal.

You know, we found that it didn’t affect it much. We wiped out the cans with a cloth and then they seemed fine. Even tested out leaving a treat in a pickle flavored one for a while and then eating it and it was fine-no pickle flavor!
